Aging Parents: Best Doughnut (Donut) Hole Explanation
I’ve been searching for a news article that best explains how the new health care legislation changes the doughnut (donut) hole prescription medication problem.
The most comprehensive explanation that I have found was published by the LA Times on March 26, 2010. Written by Christopher Weaver, the article, Health Plan Closes the Medicare Doughnut Hole, provides a clear description of the changes, and it answers a range of questions. As you read, avoid the advertisements that are strategically placed between paragraphs.

Becoming A Grown-up Child
One day in April 2007 my husband and I were the adult kids in our families — we are the only adult children
